Control of gearboxes
Each gearbox and gear train can be checked by spectral techniques, cepstrum, orbits and lateral bands in order to quantify dynamic strengths and afterwards be able to accurately compare every change in the equipment operative conditions, either by the change of new lubrication technologies or by the occurrence of incipient defects.

Torque and Power Measurements
Measurements of transmitted torque/power through special devices developed by H.B.M. - Germany- with the application of Strain Gauges bridges.

Vibration measurement in points of difficult access by means of the LASER contactless system.
This technique is widely used for gearboxes with internal bearings where it is impossible to access with contact sensors. The equipment works by Doppler effect. Sensitiveness allows measuring vibration levels with an approximate amplitude of 2 µm/s a 425 mm/s. Frequency range over 0.1 Hz to 25 kHz. Measuring distance is 0.4 m. to 25 m. without conditioning measurement surface. With a reflexive surface, a 100 m distance is obtained.
